Some of the true bread and butter of what MCB Elite can put on the street is the 5th generation 4runner tune. With conscious efforts to lay down an increase in torque across the rpm range, but holding back just enough to keep superb drivability, the MCB Elite 4runner tune is undeniably a must-have performance mod. As indicated in the dynograph below, the MCB Elite 4runner tune for the 5th gen provides an increase in approximately 20ft lbs of torque throughout the rpm range and provides smoother delivery of that power than the stock calibration.Â
The 2020+ 4runner has a different encryption type, and has more tables accessible include FULL transmission module access. This difference equates to the price difference in the tunes.
The 2010-2019 still has phenomenal gains in performance, and the full mapping of of the TCU is soon to be released, which will allow even more gains to be made.

This is one of our favorite vehicle platforms to install a tune for!
The V8 was known for being a Sequoia killer in its era due to having that large motor in a smaller body. For both V6 and V8 models, as with the rest of our vehicle tunes, you will immediately notice the throttle enhancement, followed by the nice clean acceleration brought by the added torque gains. The vehicle will run smoother and more optimally than it ever has!
